Defensive Driving Course

Most vehicle crashes are caused by human error and, as a result, are clearly avoidable events. A Defensive Driving Course will be held at the Peoria County Farm Bureau on Wednesday, March 21 and Thursday, March 22 from 9:30am to 2:00pm. The course explores the causes of vehicle collisions (mental, physical and environmental factors) and teaches how defensive driving principles can prevent most of these costly accidents. The cost is $10 per person (at the door) and all Farm Bureau members age 55 and over are invited to participate. Upon completion of the 8-hour course, members can save on their auto insurance premium. The course will be instructed by Doug Sommer Safety Sessions. Call the Farm Bureau at   686-7070 for reservations.
