One Peoria Charter Coach has been reserved with a total of 50 tickets purchased. The tickets are located in section 361 of the upper level on the third base side of the field.The charter coach will depart the Farm Bureau building in Peoria at 8 a.m. and stop in Litchfield on the way to St. Louis. The opening pitch is set for 1:15 p.m. Arrival time at Busch Stadium is expected to be one hour prior to game time.

The price for Farm Bureau members is $85 which includes the ticket, transportation, drinks, and snacks on the charter coach. Non-member price is $105. Letters will be mailed to participants a week in advance of the game to outline the details.

The tickets are physical tickets and can by purchased by cash, check or credit card. There is a 5% processing fee if paying by credit card. Contact the Peoria County Farm Bureau office at (309) 686-70670 or email office@peoriacountyfarmbureau.org.

There is a chance that Major League Baseball could “flex” the game to a night game for Sunday Night Baseball. This could happen up to 10 days prior to game day. If this does happen, the itinerary will be adjusted, and participants will be notified of the change in the schedule.


Farm Progress Show Bus Trip

The Peoria County Farm Bureau Marketing Committee is sponsoring a Peoria Charter Coach to the Farm Progress Show on August 26 which will be held in Decatur, Illinois.  The charter coach will depart the Farm Bureau building in Peoria.

Cost is $35 for Farm Bureau members which includes an entry ticket, charter coach transportation, snacks, and drinks.   

The show alternates each year between Boone, Iowa and Decatur.  It is the largest outdoor national farm show and features the most extensive state of the art information and technology available with the latest agriculture equipment, products, and services.  Attractions include 600 exhibitors, 300 + acres of corn harvesting, sitting in the drivers seat at Ride’n Drive, at least two autonomous machines in operation, livestock handling, equine events, and an antique tractor display.

Grassroots Picnic

August 28, 2025 | 6pm | Farm bureau park

The Farm Bureau Legislative Committee will host the annual Grassroots Picnic on August 28, at the Farm Bureau Park south of Kickapoo. A meal will be served by Raber’s at 6 p.m. Farm Bureau members and their families are invited to attend. There is no cost. Reservations are required to the Farm Bureau office by Thursday, August 21, for meal planning purposes.

Elected officials serving Peoria County will be asked to introduce themselves and make a few brief comments. Members will also have an opportunity to ask questions to any of our elected officials. 

Many issues are sure to be discussed and as always, the Farm Bureau welcomes thoughts and ideas from its membership. Farm Bureau policy begins at the grassroots level such as at this meeting.
