Showing Appreciation to Farmers During Harvest Season

Peoria County 4-H, Farmers State Bank of Elmwood, and the Peoria County Farm Bureau Young Farmers teamed up this harvest season to show their appreciation for the hardworking farmers in our community. Together, they put together goodie bags to be distributed at local grain elevators as a small token of gratitude for the long hours and dedication farmers put in during one of the busiest times of the year.

Harvest season is a demanding time for farmers, often requiring long days in the fields and countless hours spent getting crops out of the ground and delivered to the elevator. These goodie bags were a simple way to recognize those efforts, brighten a farmer's day, and remind them that their hard work does not go unnoticed.

Both Peoria County 4-H and the Peoria County Farm Bureau Young Farmers are proud to support the agricultural community and recognize the individuals who work tirelessly to keep our farms and communities thriving. A big thank you to everyone who helped assemble the goodie bags and to our local farmers for all they do throughout the year. We appreciate your dedication and wish everyone a safe and successful harvest season!
